Welcome to the PADLOCK web page password protection
demonstration.
|
 |
PADLOCK is a Java applet that enables you to restrict access to defined
web pages on your web site such that visitors to your site are required to enter a user
name and password in order to access those pages. Key features of PADLOCK are:
- Java applet - no CGI access needed
- Login passwords can be set to expire on a specific date
- A user's login defines a specific page or set of pages to which they are allowed access
- Advanced password encryption
User names and passwords are case sensitive and can contain any printable character
(except space) - including punctuation
Option to send e-mail notification when a user successfully logs in and when an attempt
to hack is detected (requires SMTP on Port 25 of your web server)
Protects against bookmarking and direct entry of protected page URL
Option to display different web pages on invalid login, and after a
user-defined number of invalid login attempts
Automatically disables login after a user-defined number of invalid login
attempts
You may proceed to the demonstration or return to our home page.
